  2. Jun 3, 2011 · I've noticed that here on reddit, the general consensus is that Acer, HP and Sony are "weak" brands with laptops, Toshiba, Lenovo and Asus are good brands. I've noticed that in Techradar, one of the biggest online places around (?), Acer, HP and Sony receive generally good reviews (as well as Lenovo), but Asus and Toshiba are seen as weak laptops.

  5. Oct 6, 2011 · I've been using TechRadar because their reviews seem the most comprehensive I've found, but they seem to be rather hard to please in the sense that "3.15 mp camera? It's complete crap. 5mp and above only plz" I've found a couple other sites whose reviews seem more relatable to the average consumer, but nowhere near as thorough as TechRadar.

The techradar review mentioned in another comment says stuff like this: Some find it troubling which is nothing more than a vague and unsubstantiated smear. Also, the links to disturbing articles about privacy do not mention the Opera company or browser at all.
