Oct 7, 2021 · TFSource is reliable and they ship from within the U.S. I've never not gotten a toy I paid for from them, but their free shipping can be kind of slow for a domestic retailer. When I've ordered from them, it usually took them 2-3 days to ship and another 5-7 days for my items to arrive.
It is one thing to mark things up by $5-10 and quite another to charge twice the retail price. TFSource basically exists thanks to the good will and word of mouth places like this subreddit and other Transformers communities and IMO it is shitty that they have turned to price gouging.
Oct 26, 2021 · TFSource will straight-up charge scalper prices on rarer figures (Think $70-$80 for Netflix Bumblebee, a $20 Deluxe figure), and in general have higher prices than other online storefronts. BBTS may take longer to ship, but I've been ordering from them for years and not once have I ever been dissatisfied with what I received.
Mar 29, 2021 · Right now I looked at some Takara MP's that I have skipped and are starting to look at getting. BBTS, MP-44 - $450, MP-47 - $170, MP-45 - $120 (granted it is out of stock). But TFSource, MP-44 - $550, MP-47 - $250, MP-45 - $190. So 20%, 47%, and 60% price hikes at tfsource from two typically close to competing sites.

Apr 30, 2020 · TFSource is more reliable, but you pay a tiny markup for that transparency. (Such as +$2.00 on a 19.99 MSRP fig) I’ve gotten partially lucky on King Poseidon. As their shipments have come in, Pulse has added stock here & there & I’ve been able to order 3 of the 6 figures. BBTS still has Scorponok, for the moment, anyway.
Feb 6, 2013 · 1) Site was hacked once a long while back - can happen to anyone. 2) Their payment processing is VERY strict with matching zip code/phone number and sometimes even when correct is a pain in the behind. 3) Policy is that you can not cancel pre-orders unless otherwise noted on a product page at the time of order.
Feb 7, 2023 · They aren't holding your delayed PO'd items, they just estimate when they will arrive to them. Not every retailer gets them at the same time, which is why some people have stuff already. TfSource didn't call up Hasbro and say "keep our stuff until summer" or anything like that, it's just kinda how it goes. Varies by region and also retailer ...
