It has always been very, very good on matters military in the same way that other papers have particular specialisms. Its obituaries, along with the crossword and rugby reporting are things that anyone of any political persuasion can recognise as quite outstanding.

Going back to week of Feb. 18, the British PM went to India and then there was a bombing so plenty of coverage of India that week but no mention of a workforce larger than the combined populations of Britain and Canada striking for 2 days.
