Apr 24, 2017 · I found the correct answer that the Guest was looking for. It is not scheduled to run at startup through normal means, but is in the Task Scheduler. Open Task Scheduler and [Right Click]Adobe Update-> [Click]Disable. The same has to be done for Gupdate from Google.

Apr 3, 2020 · Go to Edit (Windows), Adobe Acrobat / Reader DC (Mac) > Preferences > Enhanced Security > Turn Off the Protected Mode and Uncheck the Enhanced Security and reboot the computer and check. Note: Please turn on the security after testing. Try to Add file and Folder to the Whitelist of Acrobat / Reader DC.
