I was travelling to Manchester and booked my tickets on trainline.com I received confirmation and went to the station to pick them up on the day of travel. I couldn't find a ticket machine to put my credit card into so one of the station members of staff found one that wasn't broken or being repaired.

  3. Oct 15, 2020 · The Trainline have done nothing wrong, and didn't impose the rules; so they're entitled to be paid for the work they did and admin in refunding the ticket etc. It's likely the train operator will also charge them for the refund itself, so not fair they're out of pocket.

  6. Sep 21, 2006 · yes, I received a refund from trainline. I stupidly managed to book a return ticket the wrong way round (ie. leaving from the station I wanted to arrive in and vice versa!) I thought it was all ok tbh. I called the customer service and was refunded onto my card pretty quickly.

  9. Mar 27, 2019 · I originally purchased x3 tickets at a cost of £85.20 (£42.60 each way) each- total price £255.6 . I could not use the return tickets, so had to purchase another 3 tickets at £51.25 each total price £153.75. I believe I should be refunded for the tickets for the return jouney I could not use at £42.60 each- Total £127.80.

  10. Apr 11, 2010 · The tickets the trainline send you SHOULD work the tube ticket gates. That's not to say they will, but that is the way they should work. You don't get separate tickets If they don't the gate staff should let you through. There is a symbol printed on the tickets (sorry, forgotten what it is) that indicates tube validity.
