Willing Hearts Orphanage was founded on 23rd December 2008, and is located in Lalakhan, Sta. Maria, Bulacan, Philippines. It is supported by St. Isidore Thrift Shop in Singapore and the Philippines, a social enterprise started by Thomas Wee in Singapore.
There are several ways you can help Willing Hearts Orphanage: Gift a child an education. You can do this from the Philippines or Singapore; Contribute everyday essentials from the Philippines; Donate to our thrift store in Singapore; Sponsor freight of a thrift box to the Philippines
Every week, we send a Thrift Box from Singapore to Willing Hearts Orphanage in the Philippines. This box contains foodstuff and pre-loved items donated through our Thrift Shop in Singapore. The items are then sold in the Philippines thrift shop to help raise money for the operations of the orphanage.
Volunteer in a variety of community projects run by Willing Hearts in the neighbourhood of Bulacan. These include a soup kitchen, teaching arts and craft, cooking, or music. If you have medical skills, we welcome those too, as you can help provide health or dental check-ups for the less fortunate.
Maria Teresa from the Philippines and Thomas Wee from Singapore share a passion to do good. And today, their orphanage is home to more than 30 boys and girls, who have lost their parents, lived on the streets, or been abandoned.
