Fr Van Soest was tasked with building Blessed Sacrament Church (BSC), named after the precious Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. He later became the parish priest. In the early days, preparation and fundraising proved to be a challenge.

In 2023, Blessed Sacrament Church (BSC) celebrates these three milestones: 65 Years of the Sacred Hearts Fathers’ Presence in Singapore; BSC’s Diamond Jubilee; The Reopening of Our Main Church
It gives spouses the grace to love each other with the love with which Christ has loved his Church; the grace of the sacrament thus perfects the human love of the spouses, strengthens their indissoluble unity, and sanctifies them on the way to eternal life.

Join a Ministry in BSC! As we reopen our newly restored main church, we invite you to be a part of our work of spiritual and pastoral restoration in BSC by serving in various capacities. Like every worthy endeavour, serving in a parish ministry does entail sacrifice.
Sacrament of Confirmation. Baptism, the Eucharist, and the sacrament of Confirmation together constitute the “sacraments of Christian initiation”, whose unity must be safeguarded … the reception of the sacrament of Confirmation is necessary for the completion of baptismal grace.
