This means that if the articles you referenced are from other publishers like SAGE, Taylor & Francis, EmeraldInsight, Mary Ann Liebert, etc. then these journals will not show up regardless of how high impact they are. Apr 6, 2015 · Recently, I submitted a paper to a journal published by Elsevier. The "Elsevier Journal Finder" feature suggested this particular journal in #3 out of a total of 5 suggestions. A while ago, I had also published a work in the same journal, which was of the same topic (satellite retrievals) that I was trying to submit now.
May 14, 2015 · It doesn't even necessarily mean that all reviews are completed. Sometimes editors invite more reviewers than is required. This message only means that the configured lower bound has been reached. This is the right answer. Basically, it’s neither good news nor bad news, it’s no news, aka crappy user interface.
You can try this: https://journalfinder.elsevier.com. When you add your paper title and abstract, it gives a list of journals, which includes the 'Review speed' as well. I assume with you paper title and paper abstract, the journal that you're looking for should be in the suggested list.

Oct 4, 2013 · On the Elsevier journal finder service website you can find some data about the acceptance rate, but only for journals published by Elsevier (of course). You have to fill the name of your article and add the abstract, than you will find the acceptance rates between the results (together with Impact factor, acceptance time etc.).

Jan 4, 2024 · I submitted an article to a journal of Elsevier. This paper was peer-reviewed and I received a transfer suggestion to a list of five suggested journals of Elsevier. I revised my article according to the reviewers' comments and submitted it to one of these journals. The new journal has a higher impact factor and my submission is subscription.
4.Under Review: Each journal has a time frame and 3 weeks is what I am accustomed to in my field. Reviewers that accept reviews and never return them is a problem here. How quickly the editor tries to assign other reviewers to speed up the process will vary from person to person and journal to journal.
