This will format the cell automatically to Euro format, right click > Format Cells increase decimal places. Then use the Paintbrush to copy the format to the other cells. oldchippy.

And now its good. The problem is that changing the currency list changes all numbers cells formated as numbers, date or currency.

Apr 30, 2010 · All currency rates in your lookup table have a GBP prefix. Where the currency is anything other than GBP the lookup string will be GBP??? where ??? represents the currency code. The REPT is used to simply append the GBP prefix with the appropriate currency code if it is anything other than GBP. The 2nd parameter of REPT expects an integer.

Sep 3, 2020 · Number formatting does not change the display of text strings (which includes numbers stored as text like in this case). solutions I see: 1) Use a regular subtraction operator =B28-C25. This results in a number (not text). 2) Add to the formula something will convert from text to a number.
