In most instances you do not have the font installed on your system. Gotham Fonts by Hoefler & Co. are not standard fonts you would find in your system.

The Gotham font family is not one of the font families supported by the Adobe Fonts service. There are literally at least hundreds of thousands of different fonts out there. The Adobe Fonts service provides only a very small subset of those from a limited number of font foundries.

Jul 19, 2018 · Going to 'Find Fonts' doesn't show the otf version of Gotham. If I 'Export' that CC file as IDML, open it in CS5.5, go to 'Find Fonts', I can change the font to the otf version, re-save as a CS5.5 file, then drag that file into CC it is fine, no missing font issues.

Jan 11, 2019 · 1) I create a word document and type something using the GOTHAM LIGHT font. 2) I save the document as a PDF file type. 3) I open the PDF file and the text is changed to an image format so i cannot copy the text from the PDF file. When i use any other font on word and save the file as a pdf, i am able to copy the text from the pdf document. Upvote.
Oct 30, 2014 · I am planning on purchasing the Gotham font Family but cannot seem to find it so that I can actually purchase it. I looked in the Font section and it is not there, could it possibly be in a specific area or a package on the site?
Feb 21, 2020 · I installed all the Gotham typefaces into Font Book, and they all show up, Gotham Thin, Light, Book, Medium, etc. But when I open up InDesign and select Gotham, the flyout menu only lists Regular. I cannot select between Thin, Light, Book, Medium, etc.
