Feb 9, 2022 · Hi guys, I'm a Jax main who picks Camille, Ire, or Gwen if Jax is picked or banned. I love playing Jax because of the lack of actual lanes that are difficult against. The lanes I struggle against are often because of a personal and identifiable fault in lane. Eg losing lane prior in the Voli vs Jax matchup, or wasting a Q in a skillbased matchup.
Augments. You pretty much only want combat augments: Inspiring Epitaph, Healing orbs, Idealism, JL, Vampirism, Harmacist, Gifts, etc. Submit to the pit is great since it also gives you a Jax. If you don’t have at least 2 combat augments, you’ll probably fall off really hard and die to any normal level 8 board.
Jax also takes 25% reduced damage from all area of effect abilities sourced from champions. Counter Strike can be recast after 1 second, and does so automatically after the duration ends. RECAST - Jax deals physical damage to all nearby enemies, increased by 20% for each attack dodged, up to a 100% increase , and stuns them for 1 second.
Apr 14, 2020 · Some tips on countering Jax top in lane: -Don't take extended trades in melee range (unless you're playing Darius) -Poke him and take small trades, have an ability ready to peel his jump away. -Pick champs like Malphite, Olaf, Riven, Garen, Pantheon, and Illaoi for clear counters.
Stacking HP on top of Sterak is just pure value. When you trade with Garen try to make sure you have a minion or ward behind you and DO NOT Q on Garen. Rather walk up to him AA+W+AA ideally, or just W+AA, use E if he Q and retreat with Q if he uses his E. His w cooldown is quite long about twice your E cooldown, try to abuse that.
