What the Visit Includes. Among the Chapel's many facets you will see an exhibition of the history of the College, the world's largest fan vaulted ceiling and the Adoration of the Magi by Rubens.

Each year, King's College admits between 130-135 undergraduates from a range of all the subjects offered at the University of Cambridge except Education, Land Economy and Veterinary Medicine. Overall, we are a medium-sized College housing around 430 undergraduates across all years.
King’s College welcomes groups to visit when the Chapel and Grounds are open. The College is private property and home to a community of students, and the Chapel is also a place of Christian worship.
While the Choir exists primarily to sing the daily services in King’s College Chapel, its worldwide fame and reputation, enhanced by its many recordings, has led to invitations to perform around the globe, and to an extensive international tour schedule.
Nine Lessons and Carols Archive. A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols is the Christmas Eve service held in King's College Chapel. The service was introduced in 1918 to bring a more imaginative approach to worship. It was first broadcast in 1928 and is now broadcast to millions of people.
King’s College Chapel is the oldest surviving building within the College site and perhaps the most iconic building in Cambridge. Work on this Chapel only started five years after King’s College was founded by Henry VI in 1441.
