Jul 27, 2018 · The hardware is absolutely atrocious. The tuners are bumpy and lumpy, think of the cheapest tuners, well, they must use the ones that do not pass QC on this guitars. Lets put it this way, if somebody offered me $1 for the tuners I could not, in good conscience take the dollar. the tuners are crooked too. The bridge is very low quality as well.
Aug 3, 2008 · The headstock on the Hondo II was just like the Maestro. I don't think Gibson see's 'Bubba the TV shopper' as a threat or even that people that shop at Best Buy would actually know what real Gibson is "Well hell it is a real Gibson, it's a Maestro Gibson" strummin' in the big den with the game on. All his buddies would be there entertained as hell.

Sep 19, 2022 · With the €400 saved I’d planned to use that to either buy a Bigsby B7 or a Maestro. Finding the Bigsby in the EU is next to impossible and buying it outside the EU incurs huge customs charges. The only Maestro’s I’ve seen are in the US. So I’m keeping the Guitar.
Oct 8, 2018 · I have a maestro on a V, and several bigsby equipped guitars. Also a few Floyd rose equipped guitars without locking nuts. 7-38 strings on all of them. Properly cut nut and saddles, and lock winding on the tuners or proper length cut on Kluson tuners is the key.

Jun 16, 2010 · I have gotten into many arguments (one with a Gibson rep @ a Guitar Center' date=' even...lol) because I am a Maestro user and swear by them as fully-functional and useful parts that truly complete guitars like the SG and Firebird (and even the short-model on some Flying V's!).

May 13, 2008 · My SG 61 with a Maestro (see link for pics) was one of 48 made in 2006. Gibson has no info on them other than "Yeah, we built a few of those for some reason." The last regular production Maestro guitars were made in 2001 if I recall.
