Limiting queer platonic relationships to just between ace and/aro people is also false (though they may be involved, and may make up a high(et) proportion of participants - I have no idea- I haven’t seen any research either way).

A queerplatonic relationship is like a "more exclusive" relationship with one (or more) person(s). It's that sweet spot between friendship and romance. It may or may not involve sex, but that's not the point of if.
