  4. May 27, 2022 · Picked up a new game yesterday and would like to refund it. My "Playtime" is just over 4 hours, but the issue is I wasn't actually playing the game for 4 hours. I had it running in the background while trying to figure out how to setup (unsuccessfully) a dedicated server for the game. My actual time playing the game is under two hours.

Dec 21, 2017 · 1) if you didn't delete the game when you refunded it, then no you won't have to download the whole game again. 2) if you didn't delete the game when you refunded it, then your progress will indeed be saved. Even if you deleted the game it is *possible* if the game has Steam Cloud saving/syncing that the game progress was saved there anyways.

  10. Nov 27, 2015 · Yes you can, but don't go crazy with it. If support thinks you're abusing the ability to make refunds they have the right to remove access from refunds. No, refunding a game will not prevent you from buying it again. However, the time played when you did own the game, will count if you try to refund the game again.
