  1. Nov 7, 2020 · One student went off on a round trip cross-country and did touch and go’s at multiple airports. Whether 7500 was in as a prank or it was their own error, but RCMP were waiting at each airport. That’s all I remember of the story. No intercept. Maybe a tame reaction because they didn’t deviate from a filed plan. 1.

  2. Mar 13, 2022 · squawk 7500. have you ever see this kind of code in flightradar? is there anything special like red color plane on 7700 and 7600? Saw it the other day in Russia.

  3. 7500 - seven five - somebody has a knife 7700 - seven seven - we’re falling from heaven. A few months ago, a pilot accidentally squawked 7500 while being parked at the gate. Half of schiphol airport was evacuated and sealed off. Seventy five taken alive.

  4. Oct 12, 2012 · I work on an Arts IIE system. When the radar pics up one of those codes there is an audible alarm. If we are/were talking the aircraft, the associated tag will indicate HJ for 7500, RF (radio failure) for 7600, or EM for 7700. We can still track that aircraft directly through the call sign because the system locks the the new code ( ie 7500 etc ...

  5. Jul 22, 2016 · I was obviously a little confused and replied "confirm you want us to squawk 7500?", to which he replied that he would as they were testing their systems responses. So I did. He then asked for 7600 and finally 7700 before asking us to return to our assigned squawk. An interesting experience.

  7. Aug 10, 2023 · For my flight radar, it looks to be still continuing to Montevideo, but I’m not seeing a squawk. I pulled it up on my phone's FR24 app and there it says "N/A" (and now seeing the N/A on desktop, also) -- peculiar. It's been reported by some outlets, so I'm surprised this never made the "Currently Top Watched" list, even if the 7500 was a blip.

  8. Nov 10, 2017 · I'd imagine it's different elsewhere but in Australia, when you squawk 7500, they'll say "confirm squawking assigned code" and the correct thing to do is not reply. There was a situation a few years ago in Melbourne, due to misinterpretation and the pilots not responding to initial call, ATC thought there was a hijacking.

  9. Oct 19, 2020 · Don't. 7700 is for other emergency, and is only if you're not in contact with ATC. Again, this only pertains to vatsim. if you're not on vatsim, and want to simulate emergency protocol. you can ignore ATC as they wont' be much help during an emergency anyway (on MSFS) 2. Reply.
