Mar 12, 2016 · I'm bothered by the "pre-roll ad" run by tunein when listening to my favorite radio stations. I thought the solution is to pay $9.99 and get the "Tunein Pro" version. I tried it on my cellphone, it runs the same pre-roll ads on the same station. I'm wondering if there is a way to listen to the radio on Tunein without the annoying pre-roll ads.
May 4, 2019 · May 1, 2020. #10. TuneIn provides access to some of the AM/FM stations, with program blackouts when live sports are broadcast (which isn't a problem during the current crisis). TuneIn Premium would provide more access, but isn't supported on Tesla.
Jan 9, 2019 · TuneIn support told me that Tesla doesn’t play .m3u formatted stations. The station I primarily listen to either just started serving that format to TuneIn or something else happened to make it the file format that’s being routed because it suddenly stopped working earlier this week (before I got a firmware update - still failing after).
May 30, 2018 · Vancouver. May 30, 2018. #3. Starting in November 2017, all kinds of channels disappeared from Tunein in the Tesla via the LTE connection. The LTE connection routes through Tesla servers. All the missing stations (re)appear and work fine when connected to WiFi and they are working in the phone app as well.
Mar 8, 2015 · The only way I can get it to play is to launch the TuneIn app on my phone, log in to my new trial TuneIn Premium account, and start it from there. I log in to my account on the Tesla TuneIn page, and no favourites, cannot search the Podcast or its episodes, nothing. I reboot the centre screen, still nothing.

This worked consistently for me for a few stations. Seems like a bug with saved favorites list. I have the same problem and fix for MSNBC.
Feb 2, 2022 · ESPN Cleveland also stopped working and some other local AM stations that I used on TuneIn through Tesla UI. Very frustrating. As I keep saying, just give me FM/AM and CarPlay and will be happy. I always hear people say who listens to AM radio/ Well, anyone that likes sports, sports talk or talk radio and many AM stations can transmit far ...
Jan 28, 2022 · 335. atlanta. Feb 1, 2022. #5. Dont get discouraged about the lack of AM tuner. Model Y audio options include an FM tuner and plenty of streaming sources for all tastes....The TuneIn app, that is a source in the audio system, allows AM/FM station listening also. Pretty good.
