Vehicle Entry Permit (VEP) is a permit issued by the Road Transport Department (under Section 66H of the Road Transport Act 1987) that allows the entry of foreign vehicles into Malaysia.
VEP registration through the website at https://vep.jpj.gov.my is mandatory for all foreign vehicles that wish to enter Malaysia. Any foreign vehicle that enters Malaysia without a valid VEP permit is an offense under Section 66H(7) APJ 1987.
