Oct 16, 2023 · I’ve noticed that the two overdubs on the Frame by Frame box set from 1991 remove the only two performances by Gordon Haskell from the recordings on this box set. This includes the vocals on Cadence and Cascade and the bass guitar on Bolero. It seems to me like the overdubs for this compilation where done with the purpose of removing Haskell.
Oct 18, 2020 · Gordon Haskell's Facebook page is reporting that Gordon has died. His time in KC wasn't a particularly happy part of his long career but his work on In The Wake Of Poseidon and in particular, Lizard is much admired in the Crimson community.

Gordon Haskell - 27 April 1946 - 17th October 2020 - was an English musician and songwriter. A pop, rock and blues vocalist, guitarist, and bassist, he was a school friend of King Crimson guitarist Robert Fripp, the two first working together in Fripp's mid-1960s teenage group the League of Gentlemen (not to be confused with Fripp's later new wave band).

Oct 18, 2020 · I know Haskell wasn’t especially enthusiastic about his time with the band mostly due to compensational issues, I’m just hopeful that he was able to sort them out to some extent before his passing. I hope his life was a happy one, and I’m glad he was able to find further success in his music career later on.

Dec 12, 2020 · yeah they are definately a lot more money demanding then a lot of other people, but i mean it is his entire lifes work, and of which the music industry has fucked him over loads. plus most of the sessions are the length of an album (40 mins ish) and they each cost around 8 pounds so its not that bad. plus the box sets probably add up to be decent price, what some are like 20-25 disks and cost ...
