Jan 20, 2010 · New Dell Laptop - the @ and " are in the wrong place!!! hi, we just got a new Dell Inspiron, the @ key is shown as Shift Comma but is actually Shift 2 and vice-versa!!! i have gone into control panel, the keyboard etc is set as UK throughout. HEELLPPPP!!!! Contact Dell Support and tell them about this.
Oct 5, 2008 · The first two shift + number are "!" & "@" followed by "#" & "$" on 3 & 4. The quotation key is left of the enter key as shift + "'" (single quote) If the keys are different than this then the person replaced the keys with a different output. This is a standard legacy pattern for general US keyboards.
