Nov 21, 2022 · UOB absolute took 1 month…. SC took <1 week. Recently, Posb and ocbc instant, Citibank 10 days. UOB is almost instant if you already have a card with them (in my experience). First one took a week or two to get approved then another few days for card to arrive. Personally for me it was instant, OCBC.

Jul 1, 2023 · I applied for a Uob credit card the same way you did. Got a reply in around 1-2 weeks. You should ask your agent what's going on. May not mean you have not been approved. You signed a form in a booth, a lot can go wrong once that form gets to the bank. The agent who signed you up should be able to help.

I didn’t know getting rejected = worse credit score. Can confirm. Self-employed take hairline cut at least 30% for income calculation meaning 5k-30%=$3.5k. Min to apply credit card should be around $30k p.a. but bank also look into your other commitments so it might fall short and also your payment record.

Apr 25, 2022 · Hello, UOB is rly stringent. If this if your first cc, the credit score is probably low. Try applying other cards first and come back after a few months Citi and dbs is a good start. I applied 2 months after working, application was smooth got the card in 1.5 weeks.
