Alexandria, Again and Forever. Yehia, a famous Egyptian director, becomes obsessed with his young star, Amir, while participating in the general strike of 1987. Fantasizing about the films they would make together, Yehia elevates Amir to cinemaic messiah, while also becoming enchanted by Nadia, an actress turned revolutionary.
