Apr 30, 2009 · Is there anyone else sad enough to watch Sky News at this time of day and be treated to the magnificent Anna Botting? She's just done an item about a guy who had a bear as his best man at his wedding and she cackled all the way through it and made little gags like "One swipe with those claws and it would have been a short honeymoon wouldn't it?"
May 11, 2013 · Sorry Mods, for bumping an old thread, but I'd just like to say that I am very pleased that Anna Botting is back. And Andrew Pierce and Kevin Maguire are with her tonight for the newspaper reviews, and they have had her in giggles again. Andrew said he is delighted she is back and he hopes Sky News rolled out the red carpet for her return.
Anna Botting is far superior to the s##t that is Kay Burley, it seems to me that as far as Sky are concerned Anna Botting is treated as a poor second to Kay Burley, when in fact Anna should be the first choice everytime, always polite, well versed and a real pleasure to watch and hear, unlike Kay Burley whose real vocation in life would be as a replacement host for the Jeremy Kyle show
Jun 28, 2016 · Anna Botting mumbled that brexiters were swivel eyed loonies on the paper review last night at 10.30. Andrew Davies told her forcibly that it was a despicable thing to say. He was quite upset at the time especially as Kevin Maguire tried to cover it up. Sorry about the typo should be Andrew Pierce.

Anyone just seen the press preview with our Anna? She was on with some guy from The Mirror and a Tory, going over a story about stem-cell research helping paralysed people to walk again. The guy from the mirror said how research was "coming on leaps and bounds" then went quiet and said "probably a bad pun when people are paralysed".
Oct 16, 2009 · Jamie Rubin, former Clinton adviser and husband of CNN legend Christian Amanpour, who briefly had a world news show on Sky News had the most trouble with an auto cue that I've seen in recent years. It was uncomfortable watching him. He was more at home interviewing diplomats. Currently, I've not seen a really bad one.

Sadly Andrew Pierce and Kevin Maguire have been dropped by LBC from their Sunday am show - which is a real shame as they are a great comic duo as is evidenced by their Monday press review slot on Sky News! Iain Dale is now doing their former LBC slot solo - and its just not the same at all.
I'll be gutted if she's left - she's one of the main reasons I watch Sky News HD! Her profile is still up on Sky's website so all might not be lost:-
