Baazigar review : A huge gamble for then rising star Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) who dared to play the titular anti-hero role rejected by his peers Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar; Baazigar became an instant box office hit and catapulted SRK in to the top league.
'Akshay Kumar' was initially offered the role of Baazigar, but turned it down due to its negativity. 'Arbaaz Khan' turned it down for the same reason and then went on to do a full fledged negative role in Abbas-Mastan's Daraar (1996) .
