Mar 8, 2019 · Ok silly beginner question here. How do you properly remove an object from the scene? In this playground, a mesh and ground is created, then I attempt to use: scene.removeMesh(sphere); visually it looks like it works, but with the inspector open you can see that the sphere is actually still in the scene. So clearly it’s just removing the mesh and leaving some sort of parent node?
Sep 6, 2022 · One thing I observed is that if FBX is converted into GLTF or GLB it works pretty nicely so is there any library that can convert the FBX file to GLB or GLTF without a BSD-3 license. Jul 12, 2019 · I`m new to Babylon and am doing currently some 3D + VR app in it, but I will need a framework for doing educational web games both 2D and 3D. Currently up to this point I really like Babylon for 3D and would be happy to use it for 2D as well to have shared knowledge, reusable libraries etc. instead of having to deal with multiple frameworks.

Dec 1, 2022 · That example looks incredibly close to Babylon’s Sky Material + Water Material. They both work in WebGL and do not require WebGPU like the ocean demo. I’d suggest you read the docs for those and experiment with the various options to achieve the effect you are after. Here’s the water material link again: doc.babylonjs.com.
