Biyombo provided exactly what the Grizzlies needed. A rebound and blocks guy who can pass out of the paint to open shooters, also allowing Jaren to roam around as he does best. He's no Steven Adams, but perhaps he keeps the Grizzlies as a play-in team once Ja, Rose, Tillman, and Clarke all get back at some point this season.
Sep 12, 2020 · Bismack Biyombo is younger than Serge Ibaka, Damian Lillard, Cj McCollum, and Kemba Walker. Bismack became 28 two weeks ago (born August 28th, 1992). Anyone else surprised? I thought he was a few years away from retirement and in his mid 30's. I was so wrong.

He actually knew where every ball was going based on the shooter. He studied that a lot. Biyombo just needs that father figure in his life.

Averaged 5.5ppg/8.0rpg/1.6bpg in 22 minutes per game last season. If he started for us, those numbers might look more like 8/10/2. UFA.
