A congregation of Dominican Sisters of apostolic life, founded in 2009 from the union of seven former Dominican foundations. The Sisters and Associates are dedicated to preach the liberating truth of the Word of God and work for human rights and justice.
The Dominican Sisters of Peace is a Congregation of Catholic Sisters who serve God and God’s people in 22 states and Nigeria. We are members of the Dominican Order, also known as the Order of Preachers. (The OP after our names stands for Order of Preachers).
Dominican Sisters of Peace preach by building peace – preventing physical, economic and environmental violence for the marginalized, including women, children and immigrants. The inability to communicate can make an immigrant a target for violence.
