  7. Coming from authors like Jo Nesbo and Lars Kepler, this was a bit of a disappointment. But the point of 'Echoes From The Dead' isn't the crime, it's the feelings of those affected by the crime (just the mother here). The words (writing+translation) flow beautifully and it's a sad, sad lovely book.
