Plot summary. Hercule Poirot takes a quiet holiday at a secluded hotel in Devon. Poirot observes a married guest named Arlena Marshall flirting with another married guest, Patrick Redfern. One morning, Arlena heads out for a secret rendezvous at Pixy Cove. By midday, she is found dead.
Overview. An opulent beach resort provides a scenic background to this amusing whodunit as Poirot attempts to uncover the nefarious evildoer behind the strangling of a notorious stage star.
