Sep 21, 2020 · Greg Ellis x Bioware. Is everyone aware of the tension between Greg Ellis, Cullen voice actor, and Bioware staff/fans? Apparently, he supported J.K. Rowling after she did thansphobic comments and a lot of Dragon Age fans reacted to it. Mark Darrah, from Bioware, replied a tweet where a fan asked for Greg to be replaced as Cullen's voice actor.

May 14, 2016 · According to a family friend, actor Greg Ellis was reported missing to LAPD on Wednesday. Apparently, he has been suffering from mental health problems. He missed a scheduled visitation with his sons. (The friend has asked that people please only contact him or the police if you have possible location info for Greg on or after May 11.)

The official explanation, at least according to TV Tropes, is that unspecified “shenanigans” prevented them from hiring Greg Ellis for such a large role. Nov 7, 2020 · I yet again feel vindicated that people were saying it was Greg Ellis (Cullen’s VA from Dragon Age) and I was convinced it wasn’t lol. Seems like so far most of their VAs have been less-known/iconic actors, since they also haven’t (yet) featured Alice Wilton Regan even though she was in both DOS1&2 and is just generally one of those actors who seems to be everywhere in video games lol.
