School life. The School day is very full. Lessons, sport, hobbies and co-curricular activities take place six days a week, followed by evening Prep at the Senior School on weekdays. There are frequent trips away from School, sports fixtures around the region and concerts and plays throughout the year.
From time to time across all three Schools, Gresham’s is able to offer a variety of activities that pupils may take part in. Often there is an additional cost to the School associated with such activities and consequently, these costs will be passed on to parents/guardians.

[ 2 ] The school was founded in 1555 by Sir John Gresham as a free grammar school for forty boys, following King Henry VIII 's dissolution of Beeston Priory .
