Mar 5, 2008 · A high honour student is someone who has a GPA like 3.50 over 4.00 (or more). You know students with GPA from 3.00 to 3.50 are honour students. Actually I'm writing a motivation letter and I will say that I am an high honour student, that's why I'm asking. But thank you rivendell, I think it is very helpful.

I think I prefer "It is a pleasure to have been your teacher," because "I have been your teacher," is the kind of thing you'd say when the period of teaching runs up to the present - and so the pleasure would be present.
