Juan Piquer Simón (16 February, 1935 – 8 January, 2011) was a Spanish film director best known for directing two cult classic horror exploitation films, Pieces (1982) and Slugs: The Movie (1988).

Juan Piquer Simón (Valencia, 16 de febrero de 1935-Valencia, 8 de enero de 2011 [1] ) [2] fue un realizador, productor y guionista español. Tras estudiar Bellas Artes y Decoración, se matriculó en el Instituto de Investigaciones Cinematográficas de Madrid, tras lo cual se dedicó a la publicidad. [3]
