GTR is the only album from the short-lived supergroup GTR, released in April 1986. The album peaked at No. 11 on the Billboard 200 chart, and the single "When the Heart Rules the Mind" reached No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.
GTR were a British supergroup rock band founded in 1985 by former Yes and Asia guitarist Steve Howe and former Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett. Though the band's leaders were known as progressive rock musicians, GTR appealed to AOR radio stations. The band lasted for two years and one album.

The original King Biscuit Flower Hour CD may have deserved three stars, this version only deserves two, and then I'm feeling kind. If you are inter-ested in buying a GTR live recording, stay clear from this version.
