Robert Nicholas Burns (born January 28, 1956) is an American diplomat and international relations scholar who has been serving as the United States ambassador to China since 2022. [1] Burns has had a 25-year career in the State Department and has served as under secretary of state for political affairs.
Nicholas Burns (born 1977) is an English actor, best known for his comic performance as the title character in Nathan Barley (2005). He played Martin Weedon in Benidorm (2007–2009, 2014) and Alex in No Heroics (2008).
