Nov 29, 2021 · The movies and A&B are branded as Netflix originals, as Octonauts seems to have found a good home on Netflix for the unforeseeable future, but the original series isn’t branded as such. So while any new Octonauts content is Netflix branded now, the original series is still up for being streamed and accessed through other means, as it always was.

Sep 12, 2021 · Shellington came before them since he discovered the vegimals, and peso says he doesn’t know how the octonauts would have got by without them, since he was never there without the vegimals. Captain barnacles, tweak, and inkling were likely the first, followed by dashi, then shellington, and peso and kwazi likely joined at about the same time

Tweak: She's mature, and definitely has a bit more life experience than some of the others, and knew Inkling and Barnacles before they were the octonauts, even having built two octopods. So she's probably 38, later seasons probably 40-42, 45 in the movies and etc.
Apr 12, 2021 · By rewatching octonauts I've found out more about the biology of the vegimals. First we all know that the vegimals can breathe air or at least walk on land which means they could be an amphibous species but still have gills much like an axolotl or an early amphibian.
May 1, 2024 · Re: the discontinuance on Netflix of the main Octonauts show (UK ONLY): Hi all, I have had a look at my other streaming services and it appears I can still access all the episodes elsewhere (but coverage is very bitty, poorly ordered and across multiple platforms, so the loss of the single Netflix playlist will still be very much missed).

Thankyou, we’d always what was going on with the Vegimals, my theory is that the octonauts exist in a timeline where the human race has wiped itself out through nuclear war so animals have evolved to take our place, there must be enough latent radiation remaining to cause genetic aberrations like the Vegimals to mutate though, this kind of backs that theory up!

Or the episode where Paani calls the Octonauts to help the weta when he has no idea where the weta is, what kind of trouble it's in, or even what kind of weta it is.
