I'm not really interested in her private life as it is that, but i think shes a great actress and makes the character of Pat very believeable.

She did actually say that herself. But last year, Barbara Windsor said Pam St Clement only wanted a break and she didn't actually want to leave permanently. I wonder if they axed Pam by killing ...

Utopia will be when being gay is treated exactly the same as being straight and no differentiation is made in any way, in any walk of life between the 2. The fact that people continually ask this question about innumerable celebs is a sign that it is still looked at as being "out of the ordinary".
Oct 3, 2024 · Whether Pam St Clement asked for a break or not is a red herring imo. Pat should not have been killed off at the time and it's a huge mistake that she was. Pat planned to emigrate many times over the years, and by 2011 Pat was spending months at a time in New Zealand anyway because St Clement was on a part time contract, I believe.
Oct 7, 2024 · Scenes between her and French were brilliant. Why the producers were always so keen to axe and kill characters was in part EastEnders undoing over the years. The scene between French and Taylforth clunky and awkward only because of the previous producers lack of foresight that actors will eventually want to come back.
Apr 30, 2023 · Pam, Les and Claudette all departed, but then again so did younger characters like Vincent, Donna, Jake and Sadie introduced during the same period. The departure of older cast members just stands out more because there are proportionally fewer of them.

From 1995-2003 both characters interacted but did not always share a lot of scenes together. 1995Pat and Peggy in the pub whilst Sharon was away. 1998 Frank&Peggys wedding and You Bitch-You Cow. 2000 the affair reveal.
