Feb 11, 2022 · Quora doesn't have any of this because there's nothing on Quora that resembles reddit's sub/group system. There's no sense of community because there's no groups, and there's no volunteer moderators. It's just an absolute free-for-all. The upvoting-downvoting system doesn't even seem to work in a way that's straightforward at all.
Quora is becoming obnoxious and bitter and this is coming from a big quora user. Reddit's atmosphere is way better, quora has become a site that believes in apocalyptic scenario's and conspiracies. People's amygdala there is crazy, nearly Everyone seems on edge now on there. Reply.
Sort by: imjustaturtle. •. Quora has become less of an informational website and more of a feel-good, anecdotal site. The most popular answers are stories filled with bold text, catchy one-liners, and inspirational pictures. It's devolving into fluff. Reply.
Quora was genuinely meant to be used as a place to get info and share info with others, but like all internet places it is all about making it a toxic place now, unfortunately. They say it is not a platform for debating like Reddit is, but people use it for debating anyway and that might be the root of the comparison.

Then once you're both comfortable, get closer and take it step by step. Base 1, 2, 3 in progression. Doesn't have to be on the same night.

Quora was the best Q&A site for about a year - it was the first site that I was excited about since early Wikipedia. I think they destroyed themselves by changing structure to get more clicks. Because I seem to remember the structure getting crappy just before the content did.
