Roland Probst received a diploma in computer engineering from the University of Applied Sciences, Mannheim, Germany, and a Ph.D. in aerospace engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park. He is currently a research associate with the Fischell Department of Bioengineering at the University of Maryland.
