Sander Martin Levin (born September 6, 1931) is an American politician who served in the United States House of Representatives from 1983 to 2019, representing Michigan's 9th congressional district (numbered as the 17th District from 1983 to 1993 and as the 12th District from 1993 to 2013).
Sander Levin is a former congressman who served Michigan for 36 years and chaired the House Ways and Means Committee. He is now a visiting faculty member at the University of Michigan's Ford School of Public Policy, where he teaches and researches on economic and trade issues.
