Some of the chicken got stuck to the lid, so my mom tried to knock it down with a fork. It worked, but one piece fell on the floor, and before my mom has a chance to react, my dog was at her feet grabbing this piece of chicken and running away. Well, it had just finished cooking, and it was WAY too hot to eat, so my dog didn't bother chewing much.

Apr 20, 2023 · This is an interesting question, but I think it's worth mentioning here that "the eagle has landed" is an unusual example in that it's not some ancient turn of phrase, but comes specifically from the moon landing in 1969. Buzz Aldrin wasn't just saying "we did it", the eagle was the callsign of the lunar lander.
