Jul 11, 2022 · The Notebook is a bad movie but the book 'The Notebook' is a great love story. I watched the movie when I was 19 and I didnt like it even though I like both Ryan & Rachel as actors. Now after 12 years at 31 I read the book as its one of my wife's favorites. And to be honest I fell in love with the story, Noah and his writing in the book.

Oct 15, 2023 · Notebook is a movie that has been cherished and rightfully so, as I was completely invested in the ups and downs of the lead couple. The premise of the movie is simple, a couple divided by class navigating through the emotional turmoils. Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling are up to the task with portraying the roles.
In the climactic act of Notebook, we see Roma reuniting with Parvathy thanks to a letter written apparently by their deceased friend. Roma speculates either her father, Parvathy's mother or her dead friend's boyfriend had written the letter, but doesn't want to know, and the movie also leaves this unanswered.

It was indeed forward and quite a bold decision from Roshan Andrews. I was in 5th grade when the movie was released and had barely any idea about menstruation. But the movie has a scene in the beginning where the boy has to go and buy sanitary pads. I don't think there was a Malayalam movie before Notebook that dealt with it.
