Tumbbad (2018) The best horror movie ever in recent times hands down. Visually brilliant, be it the shots of the rain on open plains, the dark, gloomy hideout of the demon Hastar, the period era shots. Great horror movies, are those which get the mood right, and Tumbbad does it brilliantly, treats the genre with due respect.
Nov 4, 2018 · There are 2 things that happen in the end... the protagonist gets what he deserved as he was cursed and his sons reaction simply tells us that he understood the consequences of being so greedy, as he saw how his plan to get all the gold from haster ended. Hastar was cursed to eat 'anaj' and Vinayak knew about it.
Oct 24, 2022 · Imagine a horror plot where the protagonist characters are choosing to live a supernatural environment in a normal world. Choosing to interact with demons in order to satisfy their greed. Pretty crazy. This is if Indiana Jones and the Temple Of Doom was produced by India. You should watch, the cinematography alone is worth it.
Gandhi has forgotten his movie himself. The reason why main character dies is because of his endless greed. The son throwing the pouch in the end is symbolic of letting go of greed. The main character himself was toxic, treated his wife poorly, married a new one and was frequent in brothels.

Jan 3, 2020 · Tumbbad is an independently made film. Bollywood movies are just masala films thats what really bollywood is why don't we call all those black n white hindi films 'bollywood films' because bollywood wasn't created back then? Like I said not all hindi movies are not bollywood
Nov 29, 2018 · Tumbbad is now streaming on Amazon Prime! Won't recommend watching it on a phone screen. If you haven't seen it in theatres, try to watch it on the biggest screen you can and in a dark room. I think it goes on from december 1. Lets wait. I checked as soon as i saw this post (Canada)

It is only when he sees his father's fate that he decides to break the chain and take a better choice of forgoing the need to hoard Gold.
