Umberto Pelizzari (born August 28, 1965) is an Italian freediver, widely considered among the best of all time. Of his era, he is the sole person to have established world records in all the then existing disciplines of freediving.

PROFILE. UMBERTO PELIZZARI was born on the 28th August 1965 in Busto Arsizio, in the province of Varese. He is 1.89 metres tall and weighs 84 kg, and his lung capacity is 7.9 litres. By the age of 5 he can already swim perfectly and by the age of 17 he already had 11 seasons of swimming behind him at a professional level.

Umberto Pelizzari was born in 1965 and is a world-renowned freediving champion and gold medalist. In 1997 he held all world records in Variable Weight, Constant Weight and No Limits disciplines, with a maximum depth to date of 429 feet (131m).
