Aug 17, 2024 · De Ligt won't stay fit, Yoro already crocked, Evans can't perform multiple games, Lindlelof is a very useful player to have around still. De Ligt, Martinez, Yoro, Maguire, Evans and even Shaw can play there. Heck with us getting Ugarte Case can even provide emergency cover.
Dec 28, 2012 · Lindelof hasn't been as bad as people make out, but he struggled last season and Evans was clearly better. On the other hand Lindelof was fairly good the season before that, which some of his over-the-top critics forget. Not great, but fine for a backup. At least as good, if not better, than Evans was last season.

Jul 16, 2023 · I wouldn't keep Lindelof for 5th choice anyways as this is his last contractual year and he's on £120k. Selling him for even £5m and replacing with a low budget option or promoting youth is worth it financially and for the future. At least we have another year option for Maguire, even if he is the best monetary value asset to us now.
