They put, amongst all the other choices “Vivian Vance”. It MAY have been a mistake and they meant to put Vivian Leigh. Either way, a DL tradition was born.

I'm not sure when (or if she was there alone), but it was definitely before the early 1960s...when part of his estate was claimed under eminent domain to build the 101 Freeway through Encino.
