Oct 13, 2023 · If you're concerned with budget, Grab na lang. Kasi kung rental, you're basically paying for the full day ng driver. Kahit na half day mo lang gagamitin, you're still charged the full day. But if you're after convenience, get the rental kasi may times din na mahirap mag book ng Grab.
First one, car cannot unlock, have to call and wait for hotline and spent 30 minutes troubleshooting while they try to remotely reset the car over and over. End up cut my losses and asked them to cancel the booking. Second one, car unlock already, then the app tells me my booking was auto-cancelled for "irregularities".

I understood it as T being a platform (not owning any cars) who engaged car rental companies (e.g. S_XT) to use their fleet of cars, correct me if I am wrong.
And I doubt the take home is that high if you are casual. Most PHV drivers told me that Grab needs 25 trips min a day to get bonuses, which is about 12 hours if you consider 30mins average ride. Plus factoring in car rental, maintenance and petrol if they have 4k take-home, they definitely grinded for it.
The first/obvious one being driving a car that has crappy fuel mileage. If you're driving for hire full time, most cars have crappy mileage (kilometerage?). Apr 7, 2022 · You may want to avoid using e-hailing especially Grab car, their drivers are unskilled. When you check-in at the hotel, just talk to the hotel receptionist and ask for limousine or professional chaffeur. It will save you from the headaches of unprofessional e-hailing Grab drivers.
May 8, 2023 · My uncle rents a grab car to use for grab, he says to breakeven with the daily rental, about 2-3hrs of work daily, the rest are profits. Hope this helps. Im more comfortable doing grabfood delivery on bicycle, any earnings are my profits, did 3hrs last night 10.30pm-1.30am and earned $40.
based on the research i did, i would need to have at least 1 year driving experience to be added on as a relief driver for a grab rental car. but this seems to apply to drivers who also wish to also pick up passengers and earn money as private hire cars.
The car rental from grab is for a minimum of 3 months. After the 3 months has ended, perhaps I would consider getting a 2nd hand car to have a better disposable income and not feel tied down to do Grab daily to just pay off the car rental of RM55 per day.
Jun 10, 2015 · In case your are wondering, rental of car is approximately $55 a day (1650/30) and petrol is between 30-40 after nearly 20 percent rebate from spc and everyday cards assuming you drive 300 kms. Reply
