Definitive -> final; conclusive; Definite -> precise; explicit and clearly defined; So things can be clear and explicit, but might lack the conclusiveness. Or someone can give you their definitive answer, but it can be completely unclear. Of course something can be definitive and definite at the same time.

Apr 22, 2023 · I believe that these questions are definitive as they need a yes/no answer, and as such, "not really" doesn't make sense here. They are arguing that because "not really" is defined by Marriam Webster as: "no" in a way that is not very forceful or definite. then it can be used in place of "no" for the above questions.

Like, "YAML Ain't Markup Language", the expanded form of the abbreviation YAML uses itself in its definition and thus doesn't really define the actual thing. In this case, though, through negation, it restricts the purview of its meaning to a fairly ascertainable concept.
