Jan 21, 2024 · imo it's a very nice option for a gaming laptop. first thing I'd do, is try to hit +2500mhz on that gpu with a custom voltage curve in afterburner. acccording to tpu, the base 50w/1750w version of this card is as powerful as a gtx1070, the 105w/2350mhz should be a lot better. and it has dlss2 and dlss3 if the card struggles. Oct 4, 2021 · If possible twice a week. Yeah, try and have the laptop powered up until you can drain the battery, although it will go into sleep mode if there's no sign of input. As for the charging procedure, always try and discharge to 10% and then plug in charger to get it to 100%, that way the battery stays healthy.
Nov 20, 2021 · Internally, the motherboard has the processor and the GPU soldered onto it. So if the laptop didn't come with a discrete GPU out of the box, in order to get a discrete GPU onto the motherboard, you're going to have to ditch/replace the entire board, which is near same as buying a brand new laptop.
Nov 13, 2023 · Nov 13, 2023. #2. Its a good laptop but wont be enough for Alan Wake 2, my own RTX 3070ti laptop gave me 6-7fps with everything on ultra including the Ray Tracing and DLSS turned off. Alan Wake 2 is badly optimized, im just gonna wait for a few weeks for the game to get a few updates and get optimized a bit to make it playable.

Mine used to last a decent amount of time, but now it barely lasts an hour, even when I'm not playing games. Sometimes the battery percentage just drops suddenly, and the laptop even shuts down when it says there’s still 20% left.
Feb 17, 2021 · The reason i prefer a gaming laptop is because most if not all of them have really good graphic cards integrated, they are powerful, the battery last for hours, and it’s really hard for them to overheat. I find those 4 things really important. (1. Color accuracy, 2. graphic card, 3. battery life, 4. cooling system)
