Earlier this year, Naver released its Google Maps in English! You may need to toggle it to English settings from Korea - here's how to do it below.

May 24, 2023 · For addresses: Copy the romanized address into Papago (translation app) and translate from English to Korean to get the address in hangul. Then paste that into Naver Maps. For searching categories, aside from the built in choices, they really only work in Korean.

Oct 6, 2023 · I know there's a way on the app, so you might be able to do the same on desktop! Tap on the top left and click the ⚙️ button. Go to 내 계정 관리 and click 내 정보/보안기능. Jan 23, 2018 · I slowly moved over to Kakao Map and now love it. Even with the new Naver Map version, I find I prefer Kakao. It's somehow smoother and more intuitive. I like the UI refresh of Naver, and the English is nice, but something about it still feels cluttered or jumbled together. Kakao Map has a nice polished/finished feel to it.

Naver Maps and Kakao Maps however will be what you need. That being said, they should both be in English (to the best of their programming) if your phone is in English. 5.
Jun 27, 2023 · i prefer naver, its easier to navigate for me. Kakao. I prefer kakao, but naver has more things. Naver Maps is integrated with Naver blogs and reviews, which I find makes it easier to find information about businesses. Personally, I also like the ui better, but that's subjective.
